This is the main website for Project Æther, a Digital Interactivity System, developed by Alan LaMielle and Adam Labadorf. Æther is a framework that provides ways to easily utilize different, possibly multiple, forms of input into interactive applications. The framework is written in python using the pygame game development engine. Check out screenshots or the tutorials in our documentation to get started.
Æther Presentation Tonight
Adam and I will be presenting Æther at the ACM meeting tonight in CSB 130. The meeting starts around 5 and generally runs an hour. In addition to Æther, other projects that were presented at the 'What is Computer Science?' competition last Wednesday will be showing off their work. This isn't strictly an Æther related meeting. Therefore, we may not start presenting our project until after 5, depening on presentation order. We hope to see you there!
Possible themes
Here's a list of themes I liked when going through drupal's Theme Garden:
http://themegarden.org/drupal6/?q=drupal-hosting&theme=marinelli
http://themegarden.org/drupal6/?q=drupal-hosting&theme=oxidation if we can change the colors
http://themegarden.org/drupal6/?q=drupal-hosting&theme=pluralism if we can add a navbar to the top

Logo ideas
I thought what better first content than a page on an Aether logo? Here is the first thing I cooked up, what do you think?

Here's a smaller version:

Project Æther Takes Top Prize At ACM Competition
The ACM club at CSU hosted a contest where participants were asked to answer the question 'What is Computer Science?' with a creative project. Aether seemed to fit the scope of this project quite well, so it was entered. After a few weeks of hard development, the day of the contest was upon us. Approximately 9 judges moved about the Computer Science Building's room 130 in groups of two and three discussing each participant's project in a poster-session-like format. In the end, after deliberation for sometime, the top three projects were announced and Aether was selected as top project! Much thanks goes out to all our friends and supporters for ideas and encouragement. This is a first big milestone for Aether and certainly not then end. Be assured that more great things will come out of this project!
